Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga

It's a rare album that demands to be heard both on headphones and in a speeding car, windows down. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga is such an album. Sing along or pay studious attention to it's myriad production nuances. Gimme Fiction Part Two? Maybe. But better. There, I said it.

Ain't summer grand?

Oh, SNAP! Almost five months of absence and now Spoon draws you back. More to the point: Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga draws you back. Must be quite an album! Ah, Spoon, god love 'em.

Also, I commend you for resisting the temptation to title your post "Radio Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga."

It IS that good. I didn't really have a sense of it when I saw you guys on the weekend, but I've spent a few more days with it, and it's crawled inside my head and won't leave. Right from the opener, "Don't Make Me a Target," I'm hooked.

Also, please note that the fear of accusations of intellectual property theft (aka "biting your shit") prevented me from using the title "Radio Ga Ga..." I ain't no biter.

Also (2): It's good to be back! Let's see if I have the stamina to keep this up.

Oh, man, please DO NOT give me credit for "Radio Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga."

Anyway, last night Jay Slack asked if I'd bought the record yet, and when I replied that I hadn't, he had no words. He could not understand how anyone could resist it. So, apparently, it IS that good!
